Jennifer Scott Canadian singer-pianist Scott kicks off the 2008 season at the Vic as a virtually unknown quantity in the Southland. But if the performances on her recordings are any indication, we're in for a treat. She applies a velvet tone and superb phrasing to material including Joni Mitchell, the Beatles, Brazilian tunes and jazz standards.
